Through My Window (2022)
Through My Window (2022) is a Spanish teen romantic drama film directed by Marçal Forés from a screenplay by Eduard Sola, based on the novel of the same name by Ariana Godoy. Raquel begins to tell her story, starting in her humble home which ended up being surrounded by the extravagant Hidalgo mansion. The Hidalgos, her next door neighbors, lead a completely different lifestyle and own one of the most influential companies in the country: Alpha 3. This refers to the three heirs to the empire, Artemis, Ares, and Apolo. Raquel has developed an unhealthy obsession with Ares and secretly collects information about him. When Apolo thanks her for letting them use her Wi-Fi, she discovers that Ares has hacked into her computer and cracked the password. Even though she knows how to write a story, she lacks the courage to tell it.
The following day, Raquel joins Ares into a secluded wooded area, confronting him about the incident with her computer. He gives her the password, written on her hand, and inquires why it’s a code that says “Ares, Greek God.” Their conversation leads to Raquel confessing her feelings for him and her desire for him to reciprocate. She then takes charge by unplugging the Wi-Fi at night to assert her control. However, Ares surprises her by climbing through her window and plugging it back in. This moment ignites a spark between them, leaving Raquel eager for more.
