Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) is a sci-fi action movie adapted from the popular toy line by Hasbro. In the year 484 AD, after coming across the Knights of Iacon, a group of hidden Transformers on Earth, Merlin seeks their assistance to aid King Arthur and his knights. With their help and armed with a staff, Arthur defeats the Saxons. However, Merlin is cautioned to keep the staff hidden. In present day, five years after the devastation in Hong Kong, Optimus Prime lands on Cybertron’s ruins and crosses paths with Quintessa, a deranged Cybertronian goddess who manipulates him into becoming Nemesis Prime and sends him back to Earth to retrieve Merlin’s staff in order to rejuvenate Cybertron using Earth’s energy core. Meanwhile on Earth, there is a new military unit known as the Transformers Reaction Force (TRF) that continues to pursue Transformers. Despite some of its U.S. military members such as Colonel William Lennox and General Morshower being opposed to its actions.

As an ally to the Autobots, Cade Yeager shelters Transformer refugees in his junkyard. In the midst of a war-torn Chicago, he and his Autobot companion Bumblebee cross paths with two new allies – scavenger Izabella and her Transformer sidekick Sqweeks. Along their journey, they are given a powerful talisman by a dying Transformer. However, their plans are interrupted when the TRF demands the Autobots’ location from Cade. Fortunately, Bumblebee is ready to defend them, along with Lennox and Hound. Meanwhile, Megatron (formerly known as Galvatron), his remaining Decepticons, and the U.S. government become aware of the talisman’s importance and reluctantly join forces to retrieve it. They soon track down Bumblebee to Cade’s scrapyard. In the midst of this chaos, Grimlock and the Dinobots strike a TRF convoy while Cade, his assistant Jimmy, Izabella, and Sqweeks must fend off a swarm of TRF drones.
