Buddies Wallace Bryton and Teddy Craft co-host The Not-See Party, a show where they chat with eccentric individuals. While Wallace travels to Canada to meet the famous Kill Bill Kid, known for accidentally chopping off his own leg on camera, his girlfriend Ally remains at home. Unfortunately, upon arrival, Wallace discovers that the young internet star has taken his own life. Refusing to let the opportunity pass him by, Wallace sets out to find another intriguing interview subject. He stumbles upon a flyer advertising free lodging and promises of intriguing tales.
Intrigued, he arrives at Howard Howe’s mansion, where the retired seaman awaits in a wheelchair. The story unfolds of a shipwreck and the rescue by a walrus named ‘Mr. Tusk’. A cup of tea laced with secobarbital sends Wallace into unconsciousness. When he awakens the next morning, he is strapped in a wheelchair with one leg amputated. According to Howard, a brown recluse spider bit him and the amputation was necessary for his survival. Revealing his ability to walk, Howard discloses his plan to transform Wallace into a realistic walrus using a perfectly crafted costume. Meanwhile, Ally and Teddy, who are having an affair, both ignore their phones when Wallace reaches out for help.
