Underworld: Blood Wars (2016)

Underworld: Blood Wars (2016) is an action-packed horror film helmed by director Anna Foerster and written by Cory Goodman. The ongoing battle between Vampires and Lycans continues, with the Lycans led by Marius gaining the upper hand. Believing that the hybrid daughter of Selene, a Vampire Death Dealer, holds the key to their victory, Marius sets his sights on capturing her. However, their attempt is thwarted when Selene reveals that her daughter has cut ties with her and she does not know where she is. Meanwhile, Vampire Elder Semira pleads with Thomas, another elder and father of David (Selene’s ally), to convince the Council of Elders to grant amnesty to Selene. Despite being deemed a traitor, Selene’s skills are needed more than ever as she must train new Death Dealers to combat the Lycans.

After being granted permission, Selene is contacted and begins to train the hopeful Death Dealers. During a confrontation with one of Semira’s followers, Selene is immobilized by a paralyzing toxin. Using Selene’s weapon, Semira orders her accomplice to kill all of the trainees. It becomes clear that Semira desires Selene’s blood for her own purposes. Devastated by this discovery, David devises a plan to rescue Selene and bring her to the only other remaining Vampire fortress. However, Marius catches wind of their escape and embarks on a mission to find them and uncover the truth about Selene’s daughter. While seeking refuge at the stronghold, David finally learns the truth about his lineage.
