The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015)

A film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015) is a mix of live-action and animation, based on the popular animated show SpongeBob SquarePants. In it, a pirate named Burger Beard heads to Bikini Atoll and comes across a magical book that can bring any written words to life. This particular book tells the tale of SpongeBob’s adventures in Bikini Bottom, where he works with Mr. Krabs at the fast food joint, the Krusty Krab. As we all know, his job there is to cook up delicious Krabby Patties. For years, SpongeBob has protected the secret formula for these patties from Plankton, his arch-nemesis who runs the Chum Bucket restaurant next door. One day, Plankton makes another attempt to steal the formula by attacking the Krusty Krab. The two engage in an epic battle involving oversized foods and condiments until Plankton fakes surrender and manages to sneak into Mr. Krabs’ vault using a decoy of himself. Unfortunately, while they were fighting over it, the formula suddenly disappears…

The absence of the secret formula means no Krabby Patties for the customers, leaving them ravenous. While Mr. Krabs blames Plankton, SpongeBob knows he is innocent. The two escape in a soap bubble to avoid Krabs’ wrath. This causes Bikini Bottom to become a wasteland. After avoiding Burger Beard and some seagulls, they accidentally lose a page of the book which lands in Sandy Cheeks’ tree dome. SpongeBob suggests teaming up with Plankton to retrieve the formula by traveling back in time before it disappeared. Assembling a time machine, they journey far into the future and encounter Bubbles, a magical bottlenose dolphin who oversees the galaxy. However, their actions lead to Bubbles getting fired from his job.
