Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon (2016)

In the 2016 animated comedy mystery racing film Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon (2016), the gang reunites with WWE after their previous collaboration in Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery. This time, they find themselves at The Muscle Moto X Off Road Challenge, a WWE off-road race with a generous reward. Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are working at a food truck, while many WWE superstars, including Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, compete in the event. The duo is thrilled to see The Undertaker among the racers until a demon racer named Inferno arrives on the scene to cause chaos. Trying to flee with food from their truck, they are stopped by none other than Mr. McMahon, who hires them for yet another mystery-solving mission. Despite his efforts to persuade her otherwise, Stephanie refuses to withdraw from the race. In an attempt to make amends with Velma, Daphne befriends Stephanie due to their similar backgrounds as daughters of wealthy fathers.

The Undertaker’s spirits were dampened by Dusty Rhodes’ injury during the race, prompting him to enlist Shaggy and Scooby as his new partners, giving them the aliases ‘Skinny Man’ and ‘Dead Meat’. Initially hesitant, they eventually agree. However, Inferno’s assault not only destroyed Undertaker’s car but also leaves him without a vehicle. Thinking quickly, Fred modifies Shaggy and Scooby’s food truck for racing purposes and christens it ‘The Scoobinator’. As the race begins, Inferno strikes once again. Velma, Daphne, and Fred take notice of Mr. McMahon’s absence. Later that night, Inferno chases after Shaggy and Scooby but they are saved by The Miz. The next morning brings another attack from Inferno and this time, all three almost drown when their car lands in water. Thankfully, they manage to escape. In a heart-to-heart conversation with Velma that night, Daphne expresses her enjoyment of hanging out with Stephanie but reaffirms that Velma will always be her closest friend.
