The Exorcist (2016–2018), a supernatural horror series produced by Jeremy Slater for Fox, is a continuation of the original 1973 film. It disregards the sequels that followed. Angela experiences terrifying nightmares, while her husband and older daughter struggle with their own troubles. Mysterious noises coming from inside the walls unsettle Angela’s younger daughter. In the midst of this turmoil, two priests come together to fight against an ancient force of evil that threatens them all.

He is like a modern-day Templar Knight and does not shy away from confrontation – even with his rival within the church, Father Bennett. Unlike Father Tomas, Father Marcus is unyielding and intense in his pursuit of defeating their shared enemy.
