Batman vs. Robin (2015)

An American animated superhero film, Batman vs. Robin (2015), is the 23rd installment in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies and the fifth in the DC Animated Movie Universe. Previously, a young Bruce Wayne discovered his father’s knowledge of a secretive group called the Court of Owls. Following his parents’ tragic death, Bruce suspects the Court’s involvement but is unable to find proof, leading him to believe it was merely a myth. In present day, Bruce’s son Damian takes on the identity of Robin and saves a group of kidnapped children from Dollmaker (aka Anton Schott), who has been transforming them into dolls. However, after Dollmaker’s sudden death at the hands of an unknown owl-costumed individual and a feather left as evidence, Bruce accuses Damian of being responsible due to his past violent actions and being the only one who saw the figure. As a result, Bruce increases security measures around Wayne Manor to keep Damian from going out as Robin again.

The next night, Bruce ventures out as Batman to search for the elusive feather. He ends up at a museum where he runs into a group of owl-dressed killers. They capture him and transport him to their base, where he is greeted by their leader known as the ‘Grandmaster’. The Grandmaster extends an invitation for Bruce to join them, which he politely declines before being safely escorted back home by the Court. Meanwhile, Damian leaves Wayne Manor and encounters the same murderer responsible for Anton’s death, who goes by Talon. Talon takes in Damian and trains him as a Court assassin. While attempting to infiltrate a Court headquarters, Bruce falls under the effects of hallucinatory gas but is rescued by Nightwing and Alfred Pennyworth.
