Directed by Sam Liu with a screenplay by Alan Burnett and Bryan Q. Miller, Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016) is an American animated superhero film. It is the 26th installment in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies series and the seventh film in the DC Animated Movie Universe. Years ago, Raven was born to Arella, who had been impregnated by the demon Trigon. Realizing his true nature, Arella fled and found refuge with a group of mystics in the alternate dimension of Azarath. As she grew up, Raven’s curiosity about her father led her to use her powers to try and learn more about him. However, this inadvertently allowed Trigon to find and destroy Arella, as well as all of Azarath’s inhabitants. Raven was able to trap Trigon inside a magical crystal before joining forces with the Teen Titans. In present-day Earth, Trigon sends a demonic corruptor that briefly takes control of Weather Wizard after a battle between the Justice League and Legion of Doom.

Despite disobeying his father Batman’s instructions, Damian Wayne still helps defeat the entity. Unfortunately, his impulsive actions result in the League receiving no background information from it. As a consequence, Nightwing decides to take Damian to join the Titans where he meets their leader Starfire, as well as Jaime Reyes, Garfield Logan, and Raven. Although initially believing he could be a better leader than this group of individuals, Damian’s attitude changes after Raven uses her power to heal him during an altercation with Jaime. Through this experience, they unintentionally form a bond as she is able to see flashes of his life and he sees Trigon within her.
