Justice League: War (2014)

Justice League: War (2014) is an American animated superhero film based on the DC Comics team. Adapted from the storyline of Justice League: Origin by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee, it follows a series of abductions in Gotham City. When video footage links Batman to the incidents, Green Lantern intervenes and nearly gets defeated by a Parademon. However, Batman arrives to help and they both chase the alien creature into the sewers. After it explodes, they find a Mother Box and realize it’s from another world. To uncover more information, they turn to Superman for assistance. Meanwhile, Victor Stone’s father studies another Mother Box at S.T.A.R. Labs with Flash’s help. However, when Superman mistakes Batman and Green Lantern as collaborators with the Parademon he previously encountered, a fight ensues until Batman reveals his true identity as Bruce Wayne. With this revelation and teamwork, the trio begins their battle against the invading Parademons.

On the planet Apokolips, Darkseid has given Desaad the order to invade Earth as a response to the superheroes’ discovery of his plans. Meanwhile, Victor and Silas engage in a heated debate over the importance of metahumans compared to football. The invasion begins when multiple Boom Tubes suddenly appear worldwide and the Box at S.T.A.R. Labs explodes while in Victor’s possession. This explosion causes the Box’s technology to merge with Victor’s injured body, which becomes increasingly apparent as several Parademons start attacking. In an effort to save his son, Silas brings Victor to a highly advanced medical bed and utilizes experimental methods on him while countless Parademons continue their assault on different parts of the world. As this is happening, the Box’s technology begins integrating itself with other technologies in the room.
