Scoob! (2020)

An animated mystery comedy film, Scoob! (2020), was created by the Warner Animation Group and released through Warner Bros. Pictures. It tells the story of a young Shaggy Rogers who finds companionship in a talking Great Dane named Scooby-Doo. On Halloween night, they meet Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, and Velma Dinkley, and together they capture someone posing as a ghost in a haunted house. This sparks their interest in forming Mystery Inc., a group dedicated to solving mysteries. As they become more experienced, they decide to turn their passion into a business. However, at an investor meeting with Simon Cowell, he declines to work with them as long as Scooby and Shaggy are involved. Feeling frustrated and rejected, the pair leave for the Takamoto bowling alley where they encounter shape-shifting robots called Rottens, owned by Dick Dastardly who has his sights set on capturing Scooby-Doo and the three skulls of Cerberus.

Dee Dee Skyes, Dynomutt, and Brian spring into action to rescue Scooby and Shaggy from the clutches of the notorious Dastardly and his gang at an abandoned amusement park. The Falcon Force arrives just in time to save the day. While investigating, they discover that Dastardly has a particular interest in Scooby, causing Shaggy to feel left out. Meanwhile, Fred, Daphne, and Velma realize that their canine friends are being targeted and set out to uncover the reason why. As they work together, they fondly recall their past adventures with Scooby and Shaggy. Unfortunately, their jovial moments are cut short when they are captured on Dastardly’s airship. Luckily, with help from one of the Rottens, they manage to escape and turn to Dee Dee for assistance in locating Messick Mountain where the final skull is believed to be hidden.
