Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness (2015)

Scooby-Doo! Moon Monster Madness (2015) is the twenty-fourth film in the direct-to-video series of Scooby-Doo films, released in 2015. Daphne is attempting to obtain her driver’s license while behind the wheel of the trusty Mystery Machine. Despite Velma’s reassurance, Daphne ends up crashing into a tree and failing the test. Later on, the pair strike it lucky with a lottery prize that takes them on a journey into outer space. They join forces with billionaire Sly Baron, trained astronaut Shannon Lucas, retired astronauts Zip Elvin and Colt Steelcase, alien hunting specialist Ridley, football player Uvininous ‘U-boat’ Botango, news reporter Clark Sparkman (who has a sudden crush on Velma that she finds quite bothersome), and of course Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo. While Fred teams up with Zip and Colt much to their dismay, Shaggy and Scooby are thrilled to cross paths with U-boat once again.

Shannon informs Daphne of her high score on the space test, surprising Velma. As they prepare to board Sly Star One, Velma becomes annoyed with Daphne. They are soon joined by their friends and take off into space. There, they encounter H.A.M., a robot with a bleak sense of humor. But their journey takes a turn when an unknown alien begins tampering with the ship, forcing them to land on Sly’s space resort located on the dark side of the Moon. Upon arrival, they are greeted by Hudson, Sly’s twin brother, and some Sly Bots. Scooby and Shaggy set out to find food while the others search for the alien. Meanwhile, Velma’s resentment towards Daphne grows, causing a rift between them. Fred continues to annoy Zip and Colt. Scooby and Shaggy have a brief encounter with the alien before meeting U-boat who advises them to think of something that doesn’t scare them when faced with fear.
