This action-packed movie is the 29th installment in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies and the ninth in the DC Animated Movie Universe. It continues from its predecessor, Justice League vs. Teen Titans (2016). Five years prior, the original Teen Titans – consisting of Robin, Speedy, Kid Flash, Beast Boy, and Bumblebee – rescued Princess Starfire of Tamaran from her sister Blackfire’s grasp. Stranded on Earth, Starfire found a new home with the team. Dick was immediately smitten with her and fell even harder when she kissed him to learn his language. In present day, Nightwing (formerly known as Robin) rejoins forces with the Teen Titans to take down Brother Blood’s terrorist cult. He plans to use a machine to steal each hero’s powers after successfully testing it on Jericho, who is later killed by Mother Mayhem (Brother Blood’s partner).
Brother Blood enlisted the help of mercenary Deathstroke in order to accelerate his development plans. Despite surviving his supposed demise a few years ago, Deathstroke remains fixated on seeking revenge against Damian Wayne – the new Robin – for taking his place as Ra’s al Ghul’s successor before ultimately betraying the League of Assassins. Using his double agent Terra, who joined the Titans a year prior and was rescued by Deathstroke after being betrayed and tortured by her own parents, Deathstroke keeps a close watch on the Titans’ activities. When Damian becomes suspicious of Terra and begins tracking her, he is met with confrontation from Deathstroke. A battle ensues until Terra reveals her true allegiance and captures Damian, thwarting his attempts to uncover her true intentions.
