Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)

The American superhero film, Deadpool & Wolverine (2024), is based on Marvel Comics and showcases the characters of Deadpool and Wolverine. Produced by Marvel Studios, Maximum Effort, and 21 Laps Entertainment, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it marks the 34th addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and serves as a sequel to Deadpool 2 (2018). In an attempt to join the Avengers six years after using Cable’s time-traveling device to travel from his own timeline, Earth-10005, Wade Wilson is turned down by Happy Hogan. Following this rejection, he retires from his role as the masked mercenary known as Deadpool and starts working as a used car salesman in light of his breakup with Vanessa Carlysle. However, during his birthday party, Wade is captured by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) and brought before Mr. Paradox.

Paradox offers him a spot in Earth-616 but also reveals that Wade’s timeline is suffering due to the death of James ‘Logan’ Howlett, who serves as its ‘anchor being’. After encountering multiple versions of Logan, Wade brings one to the TVA. He discovers that this specific Logan was responsible for destroying his universe, leading to their mutual pruning into the Void by Paradox. A fight ensues between Wade and Logan before they are all captured by Cassandra Nova. Logan reveals that she is the twin sister of Charles Xavier, leader of the X-Men. Once they reach Nova’s hideout, she showcases her ability to manipulate minds and explains her deal with the TVA to remain in control of her gang in the Void. Tragically, Johnny is killed by Nova before she tries to confuse Wade with his sense of insignificance.
