Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) is an American superhero movie centered on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It was a joint production between Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, with distribution by Sony Pictures Releasing. In Ixtenco, Mexico, Nick Fury and Maria Hill investigate a strange storm and encounter the Earth Elemental. They are assisted by Quentin Beck, a powerful individual who defeats the creature. Impressed by his abilities, they recruit Beck to their team. Meanwhile, in New York City, the Midtown School of Science and Technology wraps up its school year after restarting due to the return of students who were previously disintegrated for five years because of Thanos’s actions. These students have reappeared un-aged thanks to the efforts of the Avengers. The school organizes a two-week summer trip to Europe, where Peter Parker plans to reveal his feelings for fellow student MJ as he continues to grieve the loss of his mentor Tony Stark. However, Parker’s plans are interrupted when Happy Hogan informs him about Fury’s attempt to contact him; avoiding Fury’s calls, Parker ignores them altogether.

During their trip to Venice, Italy, Parker and his classmates face an attack from the Water Elemental. While he helps defend his peers, Beck arrives and defeats the creature. After meeting with Fury, Parker is given Stark’s eyeglasses, intended for his successor. These glasses allow him to communicate with E.D.I.T.H., an artificial intelligence with access to Stark Industries’ databases and a vast arsenal of orbital weapons. Beck claims to come from an alternate reality in the multiverse where his family was killed and civilization destroyed by the four Elementals. He warns that the Fire Elemental will strike Prague, Czech Republic next. Despite Fury’s invitation, Parker declines to join the fight and continues on with his class trip. However, unknown to them, Fury alters their itinerary to divert them to Prague instead.
