Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), a superhero film, is based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It was co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. Following Quentin Beck’s deceitful actions, Peter Parker is wrongly accused of murder and his true identity as Spider-Man is exposed. This results in Peter, along with his girlfriend MJ, best friend Ned, and aunt May, being questioned by the Department of Damage Control. Fortunately, lawyer Matt Murdock successfully clears Peter’s name. However, the group must now deal with the consequences of their newfound notoriety. As things become increasingly complicated, Peter seeks assistance from Stephen Strange at the New York Sanctum. In an attempt to preserve his loved ones’ memories, Peter repeatedly alters Strange’s spell to their detriment, ultimately causing it to go awry and forcing Strange to contain it.
Following Strange’s suggestion, Peter attempts to persuade an MIT official to reconsider MJ’s and Ned’s applications. However, his plans are thwarted by an attack from Otto Octavius. The villain tears the nanotechnology from Peter’s Iron Spider suit, which subsequently merges with his mechanical tentacles and gives him the ability to control them. As the situation escalates with Norman Osborn’s arrival and subsequent attack, Strange uses his powers to teleport Peter back to the Sanctum and imprisons Octavius in a cell alongside Curt Connors. Upon further explanation from Strange, it becomes clear that the corrupted spell has brought individuals from other universes who are aware of Spider-Man’s identity into this Multiverse. With a sense of urgency, Strange instructs Peter, MJ, and Ned to track down and retrieve these individuals. They manage to locate Max Dillon and Flint Marko at a military research facility.
